Whether you think you can, or think you can’t, you’re right.
– Henry Ford
The words you use can either give you hope or despair. Words are powerful than we think it is. It has the ability to swerve our path towards positivity that leads to success or to the abyss of doubts and regrets.
What you do and say is the clear reflection of your mental chatter or Self-Talk. A lot of believe that the voice inside our head can’t be control but the truth is we can. Our mental chatter can be affected by the words we feed in our heads, like the books we read, the lyrics of the music we listen to, the movies we watch, even the people we associate with and your habits.
Healthy self-talk can be achieved by pinning out first the negative thoughts that are swirling in your head and always occurring in your talks. And then replace it with a positive one. But sometimes when we get soaked with our emotions it’s really hard to remember what you just spit out. So here are negative phrases that you might be saying.
If you want to be successful in life STOP saying this words NOW:
“I’m NOT good enough”
These are the words of someone who has a low self-esteem. They tend to seek affirmation from others to gather their confidence.
They are in their competitive combat but driven by the opinion of others and jailed by insecurities.
The only bail for insecurity and lack of confidence is to always remind yourself that “you are enough”. You are a wonderful creature, you are made with a purpose and it is amazing. Believe that, and you will feel free and joyful with all you do.
“I CAN’T” “I can’t do it”
I tell you, you are just afraid of the future. You are clueless about what’s gonna happen ahead but your knees are shaking already. Two things are in my head as I stare at these words. It’s either you are about to commit a crime and might die or you are just afraid to fail. Either way, point out the truth. Be bold to face your fears
Learn to take a risk. Fear should not stop you from growing and doing something. If you are afraid, don’t be, cause later in life you will realize that failure is a good friend, teaching you things that should not be done twice. Failure is essential for growth.
“I will NEVER”
This words feels like it hit a wall. Putting an end to something you haven’t even try or give any chances will box you into the trap of pride and hatred. Do not let that happen forgive and give chances. Explore new things and give love, don’t let your own set standard hinder you from having true joy in your life.
“I HATE my Body”
This thought can only lead you to depression. Criticizing yourself in a shameful manner can have a huge impact on how you present yourself to others. Love the way you are no matter how big or skinny you are. If you want to improve yourself then better start now. Healthy mind and boy is priceless.
“I GIVE UP”
The sweetest success you can have is the success that comes from your determination. People seldom succeed at first hand. Many inventors like Thomas Edison, the man behind light failed 2,000 times and been criticize and fired from different jobs. These kinds of people did not give up. Again, they treat failure as a friend and gain wisdom from their past mistakes. If they can, we can do it too.
“I am a FAILURE”
Your failure, your mistakes do not define you. If you think you’ve given your best, maybe there’s still more inside you. Sometimes we just need to wait, practice, jump to many obstacles and even stumble before we finally achieve what we truly wanted to do.
There is no such thing as failure only lessons and going forward.
Don’t put hope to an end because it is a never-ending light to get us on our feet. Though sometimes cloud hides hope behind it but it doesn’t mean that it is gone. The storm will pass away. There is always hope. Don’t box your mind. Strive hard to think right.
