
Smartphones rule the world. In fact, almost half of the world owns a smart phone and most of us use it in our everyday lives. From streaming and even when shopping, smart phones has become a part of our daily lives.

Several studies have been done to prove this and while it does not represent the world, it does give us an idea of what type of people owns a version of a smartphone. The research drilled down not on the brands like Samsung, Oppo, iPhone and the others but in their operating system – Apple iOs versus Android.
This study was a collaboration between the Lincoln University, Lancaster and Hertfordshire which are all in the United Kingdom. Here are some of the interesting facts that you may want to know about:

iPhone users are more than likely to be female
iPhone users are more perceived as extroverts
iPhone users tend to place more importance on their status wherein having an iPhone means owning a high status since an iPhone is perceived to be a “high – status” phone.
iPhone users are more known to develop romantic affairs within the workplace.
Interesting facts about Android users:
Android users are less interested in social status
Android users, compared to iPhone users are more humble and honest
Android users are more likely to have sex on the first date and visit online dating sites
Android users are more likely to be agreeable and open
Our phones may have been a big part of our lives that it now becomes a mini version of ourselves. Regardless whether the findings are agreeable or not, it’s interesting to know that every decision, even the phones we prefer is a reflection of who we are.
