Life is a vapor.

The most recent news that caught the media industry by storm is the recent passing of one of the iconic actresses of all time. She passed away after spending several days at the hospital in a coma.

What came into a shock for everyone is that the cause of her death is so sudden. According to one news article:

“The family never suspected that she would go so soon because she was healthy, a health buff.” “She would sometimes complain of dizziness and headache and the family thought it was migraine.”

The cause of the actress’s death was aneurysm. It was an inherited disease from their parents, but no one suspected her to have it – because she seemed healthy. However, aneurysm is one of those diseases that are clinically silent. Normally, you will never you know you have it until it ruptures.

What is Aneurysm?

Aneurysm is a disease where arteries weaken and bulge. The bulges in the arteries may after some time explode and rupture that causes internal bleeding. Commonly, aneurysm occurs in the following areas of the body:

  • Brain
  • Aorta
  • Legs

Statistically, aneurysm has been the cause of death of 25,000 each year in the US according to the CDC or the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The Cause of Aneurysm

Aneurysm is known as a silent killer not only because of the fact that it is clinically silent that people will not notice it until it ruptures but also because the exact cause cannot be exactly determined. Several factors play into the development of aneurysm in the body:

  • Unhealthy Lifestyle – Obesity, smoking and inactive lifestyle seems to be one of the obvious reasons why someone will develop bulges in their arteries.
  • Hereditary – In the case of Isabel Granada, her family members had it before, and it seems that it passed onto her.
  • High blood pressure / Hypertension – because the of pressure it places on the arterial walls, it may cause the vessels to weaken and bulge.
Treatments and Prevention

The treatment for aneurysm may depend on where the aneurysm takes place. Since most of the patients suffering from this condition will only realize their problem when it ruptures, the only treatment possible is surgery.

Once aneurysm ruptures, it needs emergency care, without it, the complications will be fatal.

Prevention is better than cure in the case of aneurysm. While no one can predict whether or not ruptures can occur, there are still some preventive measures that we can do to minimize, if not completely eliminate the risk of aneurysm and it’s rupturing.

  • Get checked – One of the preventive measures that everyone should do is to be annually checked. Everyone needs to be intentional about health and the first step usually is the diagnosis or check up before doing any kind of preventive treatment. Consider investing on annual health exams to make sure that your body is in proper shape.
  • Stop Smoking – If you do smoke, aneurysm may not be the first thing you may be worried about. For the sake of your health, stop smoking.
  • Eating right – Obesity can trigger the weakening of the vessels as it forces the heart to pump harder to support the circulation of the blood in the body.
  • Regular Exercise – Exercise doesn’t have to be intense, but it needs to be regular. Exercise helps with blood circulation and reduces the risk of blockages.
Get preventive remedies – Aneurysm can be prevented if we not only take the right food but also boost our health with some natural and safe supplements. Oleia softgel contains natural ingredients that can help with chronic inflammation.

Aneurysm may be a silent killer, but if we know how it attacks, we can prevent it from killing us.
